Investigating Business Sustainability of Crowdsourcing Platforms

Nowadays, crowdsourcing has become a popular way of sourcing. As intermediaries that connect crowdsourcers and crowds, platforms integrate state-of-the-art information technologies specialized organizational functions to host govern projects. The extant literature on investigated numerous aspects platforms. However, majority studies are project-oriented short-term focused. There is lack holistic view as enterprises with developmental perspective. This study aims address this issue by investigating business sustainability By considering temporal dimensions multiple interpretations sustainability, conceptual framework proposed investigate the platform analyzing key process, value co-creation, development, which major theoretical contribution study.
